I talk about being poor a lot, and I am, so I need to start charging for doing portraits, etc. for people. I just can't justify doing requests when there's a chance I could get a little money/points. It might sound selfish, but so be it .
I'm going to make a little graphic with the prices and all and edit this post with it.

woo. maybe another feature too.

https://www.redbubble.com/people/Andaelentari/ check me out! I tried posting this with a status but it wouldn't paste the link lol.
the end
I've officially stored all the art on this account and I wish I could deactivate but can't find the guts. Sooo yeah there's nothing to see here haha. I'm just going to follow people and if I make anything from now on it will go on my drawing account.
update
Not sure why I'm posting this but oh well.
I'm going to try to do a feature soon of art from my watchers, drop a link or a thumb if you want to be part of it, yo.
The comic book is killing my brain over and over again. I learned I'm not a natural at character design, for one thing
I have two portraits to draw for people on facebook, yay.
Ummmmmmmmmm
Still drawing Gerard a lot, partially because my work with him gets the most attention on other sites haha. It also helps that he's gorgeous though
I have a tumblr request to attempt and might need help with it because it's complicated too. Not like the comic book but still new territor
what I'm working on
for me and for any watchers it might interest!
1. comic book yaaaaayyyy, coming along nicely now
2. portraits for people on facebook, namely kenny and patsy
3. lots of gerard drawings lol
These are all drawing related at the moment so they're on my other account, but I'm starting to do manipulations for the comic so I can post some of that art here :).
What are y'all up to?

... some of the things ive read from 3d pros about starting out...people will take advantage because you dont work for a company etc. maybe some dont mean to but many do. There are people who for projects etc legitimately cant afford it. Theres nothing wrong w/ turning them down. You're spending your time and you should get paid for it, for the time and for the skill. But then this is something you will have to decide on. Personally I never do contests, but contests are a great way to get exposure, also joining forums and websites, finding people in your art and get to know them. You want to say do game art then get to know them. Comment on their work you like and tell them what you like about it. Look at peoples and company's styles and get to be able to use them. If say I wanted to apply at Blizzard for WOW then it would be better if I could create in their style. You're a very nice and compassionate person so dont feel negatively about your thoughts. I think you should have been doing this already and you certainly deserve this.
